Barenz BIG Buffet Breakfast is in Full Swing

Indulge yourself every Sunday morning at Barenz. The all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet is served between 8am and 11am and includes a selection of your traditional hot breakfast favourites; eggs, bacon, sausages, beans, hash browns and more. We also have cereals, muesli, yoghurt, toast, pastries, fruit, tea & coffee included. Cost is $25 per adult, $10 per child and kids under 4 years old eat FREE.

Our New Summer Dining Menu

Check out our starters, mains, pizzas, pastas and salads. We’ve refreshed the menu to include some delicious new items with a summer feel. Think Grilled Moreton Bay Bugs, Pippies Angel Hair Pasta, Crispy Skin Barramundi, and some fresh summer salads. We’ve also kept some of our proven favourites such as the 300g Riverine 100-day Grain Fed Sirloin.

James Englund is an Australian Music Producer and Audio Engineer. He has worked with industry greats such as John Butler, Michael Bolton and Ten CC as well as working closely with engineers and artists like Michael Brauer (4 time Grammy winner and mixer of Coldplay, John Mayer, Jeff Buckley, and more), Mike Stavrou (Sting, Elton John), Deni Hines, Erika Heynatz, Will Ackerman (multi-grammy award winning producer of Windham Hill, USA), Cookie Marenco, and more.

James also works as an audio professional and composer for screen music projects including film, documentary, TVC, Web Series and corporate promo. James is a multi-instrumentalist playing Guitar, Bass, Piano, Saxophone and an array of other instruments. He is also a highly professional vocalist/singer and a highly experienced performing artist.

Tori Darke

Multi Award winner, Singer/songwriter TORI DARKE Is the ‘Full Package’, A Top 5 Finalist in the ‘Female Artist of the Year’ for the 2016 Golden Guitar Awards, nominated for ‘Female Artist of the Year’ & ‘Oz Artist of the Year’ at the 2016 CMC Awards, Tori’s passion for Country Music is unquestionable.

With her powerful vocals, heartbreakingly beautiful voice, passionate song writing and mesmerising on-stage presence, Tori Darke continues to capture her audiences. With the release of her second album this talented artist continues to reap even more outstanding results as she continues to make her mark in the music industry.

In my recent travels to the Southern States of America i have witnessed where the music in my heart was born (especially New Orleans, Mississippi and Memphis) and have come back home with belief, great drive and great inspiration.

I have felt a connection with music i believe even before i knew what is was.

My dad was a great musician, singer, songwriter in many bands over his time and my mother a strong supporter and music lover. I attended plenty of gigs in the womb and as a baby,
back stage in green rooms, taking it all in.

My 3 sisters and I have been raised with music playing a huge part in our lives.

We lost our dad in 2013 to skin cancer, but i still hear his words and feel his presence encouraging me in my one passion that my heart truly recognizes.

Music and art is my life and even though its a hard road, its the only road for me.

The Big Buffet Breakfast @ Barenz

This has been in the pipeline for quite some time. Barenz will be serving a buffet breakfast! We’re still confirming the public launch date. At this stage we’re looking at Sunday mornings between 8am-11am as the designated buffet breakfast time slot. Depending on how things go, we may open this up to Saturday mornings also. Once things are all confirmed, we’ll be sure to make an announcement to our Facebook fans and in local media.

Melbourne Cup After Party

This year we’re celebrating the race that stops the nation in style. We’re cracking out the bubbles and strawberries, fresh prawns and a special featured cocktail, the aptly named “Pashenz”. Dean Bennison will be playing live from 2:30pm.

Our Pashenz Cocktail will be $12 on special. Our selected bubbly for the day is The Vines NV Brut Cuvée which can be purchased by the bottle, served with strawberries for $35. Restaurant and bar will be operating as normal. We look forward to seeing you on the day!

Beer Garden Upgrades

Out the back of Barenz we have a sweet little outdoors area that’s about to receive some more upgrades! We’ve already introduced new high tables and chairs but we’re looking at a few other tweaks to liven up the area for those summer moments, to enjoy a cafe breakfast, lunch or cool afternoon drinks. We’ll keep you posted as the changes happen this month!

Once in a while a musician comes along whose talent is ageless and who instantly turns heads… country singer songwriter Tori Darke is one of these artists. Since she stepped into the public spectrum as a 16-year-old, Tori has been dubbed as one of the most promising young country artists on the Australian music scene. Her powerful vocals, heartbreakingly beautiful voice, passionate songwriting and mesmerising on-stage presence has seen her debut EP and debut album make a huge impact. She’s also already shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the business, an incredible achievement for an up-and-coming performer, who is forging her own way and breaking the mould as she goes.

Aaron is a local fixture of the Camden music scene. He’s played all the local spots and always gets a good response from the crowd of a Sunday arvo. He plays a mixture of covers spanning 60s to now and has an original repertoire of mellow blues/roots/indie acoustic.

Long Weekend Begins with a BANG!

First of all, we’ve got October Long Weekend to open the month. This means two things: the NRL Grand Final between Melbourne Storm and North Queensland Cowboys kicks off at 7:15pm on Sunday afternoon (1st October). On the same day, we’ve got Barenz Sundayz happening in the Courtyard between 5pm-10pm. This is set to be one of our biggest weekends of the year! You can catch the footy at the Cocktail Bar or in the Courtyard.

New Happy Hours: Thursdays & Sundays

More good news for October. We’ve changed our Happy Hourz to add more value to Thursday Pizza Night and Sunday afternoons. Thursdays is $10 Pizza Night (see our menu) and will now include Happy Hour Cocktails between 5pm and 7pm. Happy Hour Cocktails will also be available on Sunday afternoon between 4pm and 6pm. We have 6 Signature Cocktails to choose from which are $10 each (normally $16).

Coming into Spring we expect to see more people dining out, enjoying the warmer weather and the longer daylight hours. With the cafe windows open, the cocktail bar is the perfect setting to unwind with a casual drink.

Breakfast Daily

We’ve changed up our table settings at the front of our cafe/restaurant to give people a nicer breakfast experience. When you walk by the main street entrance, you’ll notice inside has a more comfortable and cozy vibe. We’ve also changed up the outdoor table setting for a better breakfast experience. Barenz has the best central location on Camden’s main street, right across from the Post Office and next to the old Newsagency… it’s a great spot to sit and enjoy a classic Camden breakfast 🙂

Jack Willis

Jack Willis is a promising young performer from the Illawarra. When he isn’t studying at the Australian Institute of Music, Jack performs a range of contemporary music on his acoustic guitar to local venues. Jack has a warm tonal quality to his voice and showcases his confident fingerstyle guitar playing across well known classics as well as more modern pop songs.

Barenz and Somerset Music are proud to present Macarthurs latest Open Mic Night. This is a great chance to either get up on stage, or to support some of the fantastic local talent here in the Macarthur Region. Come and relax with a Cocktail and enjoy the music!

Free entry for all, anyone wishing to perform will need to register. Performers will be given time for up to 3 songs, there may be more time available at the end for extra songs. PA and Piano will be provided, please bring your own Guitar.

Aaron Oswald

Aaron has performed around Macarthur, Sydney and Illawarra over the past 5 or so years as a solo performer. He is a familiar face to Camden and has played live on local radio. His musical influences borrow heavily from 90s alternative, Seattle sounds, blues, rock and pop. He covers a range of classics and his own favs, with some original songs thrown in for good measure.

Ash n Bodo

Having been heavily involved in the Sydney music scene, Ash ‘n Bodo are an experienced party duo playing a wide range of styles to cater for all occasions and tastes.

Ashleigh brings years of stage (and television) experience to our duo with an infectious stage presence and vocal skill that will have you entranced from the start. Brandon (Bodo) has been a part of the Sydney music scene since the late 90’s and has performed across Australia and also internationally in many weird and wonderful scenarios and will blow minds with ripping guitar solos and riffs.

Brandon was also the manager and bassplayer in one of Sydney’s premier function bands “Papa Groove” and for 14 years the band played Australia wide and internationally for some of the biggest companies in the world including: BHP Billiton (WA), Shell Petroleum (Oman), Harness Racing NSW, NSW Police….and many more.

From years of this experience Brandon and Ash have learned how to read and entertain a crowd and tailor the best music to ensure the success of your event or venue.

Together, Ash and Bodo bring years of stage experience to our show and have fine tuned our repertoire to keep our crowds dancing and singing along to songs you know and love from Artists such as: Bruno Mars, Daryl Braithwaite, Meaghan Trainor, Taylor Swift, Jamiroquai, Fleetwood Mac, Amy Winehouse, Blondie, and more.
